HA!! None of you know what you're talking about. Do some research. You're all naming good pitchers who are also good hitters. It doesn't necessarily have to be a good pitcher who's the best hitter.

Released earlier this year by both the Reds and Angels. Recently signed by the Royals, and in Triple A...The best hitting pitcher in the history of Baseball who also happens to be active is.... ESTEBAN YAN!! That right I said ESTEBAN YAN!!!

Esteban boasts a career batting average of 1.000. Career On Base percentage of 1.000. Career Slugging percentage of 2.500. A career On base plus Slugging of 3.500. He has hit a Home Run, Scored a Run, and driven in a run in 50 % of his at bats. Time to convert him to a Corner Infielder.

Esteban Yan: 2/2- 1 HR- 1 RS- 1 RBI

Jason Marquis, Cardinals. (!!)
LaRussa can expect a good AB everytime Marquis comes to the plate, because he's smart, has power and can see the pitch he wants/waits for. *He bunts pretty well, *He has like 6 doubles this year alone, and *is frequently used a a pinch-hitter.

Last year, his BA was .310 with 27 hits
