how do you fold a burlap sack for use on a grill for spreading oil?

I worked in restuarants for years and now cannot remember how to properly foold a burlap sack for using on the grill.

There are aerosol cans that you can fill with your own oil and then just pump and spray. Much less to clean up.

have to ask why burlap? seems anything would work like a brush ?
