I am lost about this, and I would love to add more color to my home. I do have the standard green leaf plant growing. Its still small. Two others I've tried to transplant have died. I am not good at this.

Any websites would be helpful too- to show me what they look like.

Thanks,
Elle

Well, try flowers. Big bouquets of flowers are always nice. Just go to a local flower shop and pick some of your favourites out and the people there will do the rest and put them into a big beautiful bouquet. Other nice plants are topiary trees because they can come in all different sizes and add a little bit of class to your home. You can get most of these plants and flowers as fake ones too which obviously require some management but last forever. Just make sure you get ones that look real. I wouldn't suggest you get big tropical plants for your house because they scream 1990's and porn movie set. SO DON'T GO THERE. You can really do a lot with little plants. To add life and culture to your home you need a good mix of colour, furniture, and yes, accessories which include plants. Bamboo shoots are another option.

My favorite is Moses in the Cradle. Try the Dave's Garden website. There are pics of plants there, as well as lots of forums where you can ask gardening question, including a houseplant fourm.

it quite is humorous which you point out "Cat risk-free" because of the fact I certainly have 2 cats and 6 parakeets. The Keets are in an aviary and that they only RAVAGE my flowers - %. the leaves off one by using one! The cats don't fret my flowers in any respect. i comprehend that cats have an interest in jade flowers for regardless of reason. My mom's cats suck on the jade leaves like little vampires, in spite of the shown fact that it does not look to harm them. the only plant i comprehend of for advantageous it quite is poisonous to cats are any form of onion.
