yeah no childshould have beer.she is crazy for doing that.there is no purpose for it.i know you don't want to see the child's wellfare in jepordy so please have a one on one with her..and if that doesn't help see what your options are.you are right for standing up for the child.he may need you in the long run.

I'm not sure where you are, but here in the UK, it's illegal to give alcohol to children under the age of 5. (see link below which is from the government's offical website)
Have you spoken to your sister-in-law's husband (sorry, not sure if she's your brother's wife or your wife's sister) or the child's grandparents to see if they can persuade her that this is a silly and potentially harmful thing to do to her baby.

you should have smacked the sht outta her, or your brother for letting her do it. The only time i have ever heard of someone giving a baby alchol was a old remede for teethin in which you poured some liquror on your finger and rubbed it on babys gums. and you know what you should still report her as* if your brothers not going to do anything about it, just cause she birthed it dosnt mean she deserves it if shes doing stuff like that. shes gonna fuc that baby up and then your gonna have to live with the fact that you saw it happeing slowly and didnt do anything about it

lighten up, you better hope that is the worst thing that baby will get into, if it was a sip then it will be okay, some foods have more alcohol content than one sip of beer does!

I'd report her anyway. She could be destroying that child's liver and causing it a future of alcoholism.

And what's your question?
It's pretty irresponsible, but unless the kid is wasted on a regular basis, it's not particularly harmful.

She is either completely out of her scull, or extremely uneducated. The kid needs to be saved from this irresponsible woman. You know what you need to do, and do it a.s.a.p
