I think contacting a newspaper or a magazine might be a good way to get the funds. You might also contact a few airlines and ask to speak to their Media Relations Department. Most airlines have inflight magazines.
If you don't mind being on TV you might contact some of the local and national TV shows that you like... Oprah, Helen, whomever.
To contact these people, simply put the name of the show into a search engine and when you go to their website locate the "contact us" section.. and give them a call or email them with you story idea.
Good luck.

Your best bet is to contact a magazine or a show like Montel Williams. If you don't really wanna do that, maybe you can ask a relative to lend you the money - like your parents, or maybe a sibling? Another route you might wanna go is setting up paypal and getting donations from people who wanna support you in reuniting with your son.
I wish you lots of luck with this!

Hello, (ANS) To the prior poster, That wouldnt paintings if the individuals who stole the computer had been technically savy. They might comfortably wipe the whole computer blank in seconds and any monitoring or hint program too. Any monitoring mechanism could need to be hardware established, or possibly a radio monitoring unit which gave out a observe in a position signal to GPS for instance, or a gadget difficult coded into the method bios that couldnt be converted or tampered with. Anything program established is a whole waste of time & cash as it could speedily & comfortably be eliminated with the correct equipment & potential. **If the computer used to be stolen your danger of each seing it once more are frankly BIG FAT ZERO!!! regrettably!! **Tracing it by means of its IP or MAC cope with is a waste of time too. It could be like looking to discover a needle within the largest haystack on the earth. You will simply need to correct it off or try to make a declare for your coverage when you've got coverage that covers robbery of hardware. IR

As a former newspaper reporter, I can tell you that papers, honest ones, do not pay for tickets. However, I might suggest contacting the paper to see if they have a feature story interest in your story. Then once it is printed, you might find that some kind hearted, likely well-off person in your area might donate the ticket to you.
Best of luck to you.

Write a letter to your local TV station and the newspaper.
Give a very brief description of what you have posted here.
Not too many details, just enough to pique their interest.
Give them the dates and location as closely as possible. They will find the archives.
This is a human interest story that the Media searches for.
I think you may be surprised and overwhelmed.
Good luck, and God bless.

Maybe you could write to a few reputable talk shows like Maury, Oprah, Tyra...
You may also want to let your son know that you are not financially able to and he may be able to purchase a ticket for you.
Another option is by driving, bus or train if it's not too far away.
Hope this helps and good luck!!!
