Private use skyrockets on weekend. Yahoo surveys show that about 2/3s of their search quiries appear on weekend (starting Friday night.) The Web (the proper name instead of Internet) is a huge new entertainment/leisure-time activity and is the principal reason network TV is going belly-up.

I think people use the internet less during the weekend because 50% more people are off during the weekend so they want to spend more time out and and about with there family. During the week some people work for a living on the internet and some people have to look at lottery,stocks and bonds and other things that they cannot watch on tv because they are working. Alot of people use their in home computers more on the weekend but since they are off work the office computer is not getting used so actually if all the office people use their computers at home then the internet is being used the same amount.

I think that alot of people use it more on the weekends because some jobs don't use computers or they aren't hooked up to the internet.

it depends:
I found my friends to chat on weekends because in my office I cant use msgr.
I work all day on my pc at work.
I´play more with my children on weekends too. Off and online

No, they use it more as they have more time to look around or play on the Internet on the weekends

No, more people work monday through friday than people who do not, therefore, I think there would be more people using it on the weekends.

yeah, we have stuff to do on the weekend. surfing the net is more for when you're at work "working"
