Catholics, Jehovah witnesses and some so-called God believers from other religions do not believe in the trinity therefore they are not Christians.

In many Christian religions, Jesus is regarded as the SON of God. The 3 are separate. And as for Catholicism getting it right, you are entitled to believe whatever you want, but the idea of the Holy Trinity predates the Catholic religion and is open for interpretation by all Christian religions.

Why are so many Christians saying, "Jesus is not God"?
For the simple reason Christians that say, "Jesus is not God " don't know who he is.
Everyone in the real Church was and is baptized in Jesus Name only. This includes everyone who was baptized in the first church. The fact is, and it is a fact, no one was ever baptized in the titles Father, Son, and Holy Ghost in the first church.
History itself, records the use of Jesus Name as the only form of baptizism used in the first church, you know people such as Paul, James and John those guys.
Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics (1951 ) II 384,389:, " The formula used was " in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ" or some synonymous phrase; there is no evidence for the use of the triune name.... The earlist form, represented in the Acts, was simple immersion... in water, the use of the name of the Lord, and the laying on of hands...
The disciples ofJohn were rebaptized. They were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 19:5
Acts 19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Who is the image of the invisible God?
Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence
1ti 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh,( Who was made flesh?) justified in the Spirit,(Who was justified in the spirit?) seen of angels, (Who was seen of angels?) preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
I say again who, who? No one but Jesus Christ. That's who

Probably because they're lost, confused, people who are portrayed through the media as lunatics!
Trinity: God the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
and yes, Jesus is God, its just that people have a LOT of screwed up ways of thinking of who God is... its kinda complicated.

The concept of the holy trinity is pretty confusing. If you aren't christian i dont expect you understand it.
Here's a crash course. Jesus is simultaneously God's son and part of God. the third part is the holy spirit.

God is Jesus' father, while he was on Earth God spoke to Jesus from Heaven. If God and Jesus are the same, what, did he throw his voice to make the deciples think God was talking from Heaven?

As a Christian, I consider taking the identify of the Lord in useless is an dilemma of admire- He needs and likewise merits to be held within the maximum regard. He is the Holy Creator of the Universe. When the identify of the Lord is used to do or say matters that experience not anything to do with Him- it's disrespectful and a omit-use of His identify. We tarnish His repute and omit-constitute Him to others. Think of a individual you like and admire- (photograph them on your brain) then suppose that whenever you obtained annoyed or indignant you blurted out their identify like a curse. or suppose that you just did some thing unfair or imply to anyone however justified it via announcing that the equal individual you like and revered had legal it and informed you to do it. Can you notice why that individual you like and admire would not wish you to make use of their identify like that? God feels the equal manner. I wish that makes it extra transparent:)
