Screw them...I am speaking figuratively not literally lol. I am in the same boat as you are my friend. Trust me I know exactly what you mean. Just ignore them. I do the same exact thing. Knowing that you are not the only one (I am at least another person doing the same) should help. In fact, I have had people praise me when I tell them because that shows incredible restraint and self confidence. Especially living in a society like the USA, this occurence is rare indeed. Some people even envy me because almost all of the cheerleaders I know from high school are pregnant and all those "cool" kids from high school are college drop-outs and working 2 jobs full time because they had a kid (or even kids) and now they obviously have to support their own family. Some even got married (and I knew both the guy and the girl). I mean I don't condemn them for stepping up and actually taking responsibility instead of running away but you see just because of a small emotional decision and for a few minutes of pleasure, they have messed up a chance of a "good" life which is usually associated with getting at least a college degree and a very successful career and then actually enjoying what you do for a living.
Your own body is your own. You have one and only one body. You are not going to get another one. You have to live in it for the rest of your life. So don't abuse it and don't hand it over to anybody who just wants it as a sex toy. Sex is more than just a few minutes of giving and receiving. It should be respected and it is sacred, something that you share with that special someone and then it is even more rewarding. It shouldn't even be called sex. Some people prefer it be called making love.
Just hang my man...and it will be all worth it. At least you won't regret it and you won't feel worthless.

Do what you want the people telling you this don't have control over you! Just don't put yourself in a position to be tempted to have sex, go out on dates with a group of friends in public places. I really think it's fine if you want to wait, not many people do, so i applaud you.

If it's that intolerable, pretend you've had sex and that will shut them up. Otherwise, stick to your guns and assume the responsibility of your decision. You know what's right for you more than others do. Beside, they have no right to interfere with you life the way they do.

Congratulations, you believe in the old fashion values. Tell the people you believe in the marriage vows. If they don't like it, tough. It is your business and nobody elses. In future, just don't announce it.

If the ribbing your getting from your friends is getting too harsh you may want to talk to them and tell them straight up that it's something you really believe in and don't want to compromise. They should be able to respect that.

Some choices are difficult ones. If it's something you truly believe is important, you'll be able to wait and your real friends will be ok with it.

just gotta stand up for yourself.
And maybe not reveal so much to others. Just say you are saving, don't say for what. It's not their business.
