I have Windows XP. For some reason, I cannot hear sounds from www.hallmark.com and other sites. i can hear mp3s perfectly on Real Player and Windows Media Player so it is not my sound card. In any case, I uninstalled the old version of Adobe Flash player and installed the latest version (9). I even downloaded the Shockwave player. And yes, I have uninstalled and reinstalled my sound card. Any other suggestions or ideas?

probably you don't download your XP software in windows player o shockwave. Now XP is more sensitive ( bull ****) for correct programs installations or download.

I suggest yo start uninstall all version of programs and going one by one till you get some sound in your pc

If your problem is only in that site get fAQ section of them to find answers, go to americangreetings.com its huge too.

Good luck
