Most people don't. Ive never seen anyone do that ever. My son told me one morning near his restaurant he saw a line of cars waiting for baby ducks to cross the street with their Mama.

Because harming animals somehow makes them feel superior and good. It is totally wrong. There are studies that show that children who are cruel to animals can (and a lot of times do) progress to harming people.

This type of person has serious issues and are abuse their families also. I once saw a teenager beat his pet dog because his dad just beat him and he took it out on the dog as there was no one else to take it out on. This boy was an all around mean person, but maybe it was because of his home life. I heard if you abuse animals you abuse people too.

Never heard of people running over animals for the fun of it.
