Hi. I am a teacher and my husband and I are trying to sell our store "Teacher's Paradise & Party Supplies." We have too much own our plate right now with two children and both working full time jobs. Great investment. All inventory/shelves/computer/fax/copier/racks will be sold. We rent the building so the inventory can be shipped to wherever. We live in Hazlehurst, Ga. Any ideas on how else to sell all this inventory?

There are several things you could do. First, consider making the inventory a part of the purchase to the buyer. This way whoever buys the store will already have something to work with. You could also try ebay, but if you have a lot of inventory you may have trouble getting it all sold in a decent amount of time. You may also want to consider having an auction. While you may not get the full value of the goods in your store, you should get some big bites from teachers around.

Do you have a website? If so, email out to people and get them to buy online. Otherwise, contact local school systems and offer discounts to teachers, especially if they buy in quantity. As for selling the entire inventory, you might want to list in eBay as a bulk inventory, depending upon how much you can eat in terms of discounting it.

Wow. How much stuff do you have? Are we talking a pickup load, u-haul trailer, u-haul truck or semi? Give me some examples of what you have.
