I want to add freon to my 1996 ford contour and need to know which is the low side filler port?

The larger line is the low side The smaller line is the high side also you can feel the lines the low side is cold the high side is hot!

Only if you have a EPA certification to hande freon. If not, it's agianst the law and the fines are high.

Follow the large line, it should have a valve. be careful if you overfill it it could blow a line or jam the compressor
