You don't get points when people answer your question...right? So, why would a person care how many answer....( I have seen somthing about this on another post.) "that is, when all they are doing is trying to get the points" But...what good are the points anyway? Just wondering, why all the hype over points. I ask if I have a question and answer if I have an answer. I don't make things up just to get points.

It gets you to different levels and increases the number of questions and answers and ratings you can participate in. I tried to sell some of mine and they have no street value whatsoever so I guess its just a motivational, sense of accomplishment thing.

good question. I think its just for the levels. People with more time can do more answers cuz alot of the answers arent that great. But some are good. It depends.
