Pirates of the Carribean question: What happened to the dog with keys?

I hope this wouldn't spoil the movie for the people who hadn't seen it. I just want to know about the post-credits scene that I missed at the Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest, where it says something about the dog with the cannibals at an island.

The dog that the cannibals were chasing after they stopped chasing Jack (same dog that had the prison keys in the first movie) is shown sitting on the throne chair of the cannibal tribe, the same chair Jack sat in. So now they are worshipping the dog and probably plan to do him the honor of releasing him from his earthly prison by eating him, since the best (Jack) is gone.These cannibals, how can they go from Jack to a dog?

The puppy was abandoned on the Island of the Cannibals and it was sitting on the chair Jack sat on when they were going to eat him.

That is all there is until POTC 3 - LOL you have to imagine that Poochie's fate was similar to Jack Sparrow's original fate with the cannibals. He is just sitting there in a chair while they do their dancing stuff.

The poor doggy is in the chair that Jack was in earlier. Which means that the cannibals are most likely going to eat it. Poor doggy!
