I went to Malia in August 2004, and had the best time ever. Want to go back next year with different group of friends. Is it still the place to go?

Hello dear!
I was in Malia three days ago! Lively city and many young people are enjoying every moment!
Personally, I prefer other, "easier" places! Before Malia, I was in East Crete, visited the summer palace of Minos, walked the Gorge of Dead, daily swam in clear, clean, safe blue waters and enjoyed plenty of fish and raki with company playing and listening to music and dancing when our body was feeling like!
Of course, every part in Crete has to offer something great to the lovers of life!
Enjoy London and sure you will be enjoying Malia and every part of Crete and Greece!

Yeah I've visited Malia three times, never stayed there but been during the day and for nights out. I usually stay in Stalis which is next door to Malia, really nice beaches and restaurants and isn't as busy.
Hope you have a nice time!

Dear,
I have been to Malia! It is too noisy for vacation, except if you miss crowd and "crazy" youth behavior too much!
Most likely next year I will be passing by Malia several times per month!
