Those that like him don't see him for what he is and has done , especially behind the scenes. They lack insight and have no street smarts or ability to reasonably judge his character.

9/11/01 WAS...
Not the only attack on the US soil, Jetfan45, another would have been Pearl Harbor in 1941 which happened during the regime of F. D. Roosevelt, Democrat! So try to blame that on Bush too?
I like Bush because the Democrats have not offered us anything better than Gore the eternal Bore or John F. Kerry the man who is a treasonous traitor to the uniform he wore in the United State Navy. Put a candidate up that we can respect, and maybe you won't keep getting whipped. Until you do, you will only keep losing. Democrats must not really want to win, no I think they really just want to WHINE!
Oh wait, I think I recall another attack on US soil that has been largely ignored! In June of 1942, the Japanese invaded Alaska via the Aleutian Islands, Kiska and Attu Islands. You can do a lot, but you cannot rewrite all of American history, Bush was not the only President to bear the weight of hate, for an attack on US soil.
Now back in 1941 men were men so the Democrat, Roosevelt declared war the on Dec. 8th, so you see defending this country is EVERY President's responsibility! They are allowed to take their job seriously like that. Gee, does that make Roosevelt mean too?
Democrat = whiners who want to forget that it was a Democrat who got us into that nasty old WWII! Oh and WWI, Korea, and Vietnam too! I would say that the Democrats are the ones who are notorious for getting us involved in WARS.
Ouch why are the Democrats so mean?

Because people have differing views, because people were raised differently. Because people are individuals. Because where one person loves a man another hates him. I think jim carrey is funny, other people hate him. People don't like george W. bush because they are stupid or they are "brainwashed." They have their own reasons.
Personally, If you say "he's mean" then you know what I say? GET A REALITY CHECK. TRY LIVING IN THE REAL WORLD FOR A DAY. What are you, three? The world is mean. Ever been shot at, ever been threatened to be shot? Ever had a knife pulled on you? I have. If you say HE is mean. 99% of the people I go to school with make him look like a wimp.
I don't like the guy, but I agree with some of his decisions and would like the critics one question. What would you have done? What other choices were there? Some people don't like him because of his religous standing, I can understand that.

Obviously you’re not going to get a straight answer from any Republicans. Conservatives can site no accomplishments or achievements of this administration which would qualify Bush as a good, adequate or competent leader. The only reason Bush still has roughly a 30% approval rating is because of the wealthy men who are profiting from his presidency, the demonic Christian right, and Rush Noballs fans.

Because the right-wing conservative-biased media brainwashes people into believing that Bush is some kind of American icon - some sacred image that is omniscient and all-powerful.
Instead, Bush is nothing more than a 'puppet' for Dick Cheney, who - in collusion with the sitting U.S. Congress - is the most evil, incompetent, corrupt, greedy group of people ever to occupy power within the beltway.

As long as the 'evil empire' of media "commentators" such as Rush Limbaugh and Shawn Hannity dominate the airwaves, we will have a certain preponderance of people who will buy into the Republican propaganda like lambs being led to slaughter.
Besides, Bush makes his rich cronies even richer as he flits from one 'war' to another' handing out lucrative government contracts to all those companies who have generously bribed (excuse me, contributed to) the GOP.
People who can still think for themselves will rejoice when the Bush administration is finally removed from office. We can only hope that some respectable people with integrity will replace the Bushites (definitely NOT Hilary Clinton! Hopefully someone like Colin Powell or John McCain).
People that like George W. Bush would like anyone nominated by the Republicans, including Satan himself! Those intelligent and courageous enough to think for themselves will vote for the person, regardless of political affiliation. -RKO-

Because they're fundamentalist christians who don't like abortion or gay marriage because it says it's a sin in the bible.
And to notadummyrat, who says Bush's achievements included having no attacks on US soil since 9/11, that still puts him far behind every one else... let's see, shall we?

He has kept us safe since 9/11 NO attacks on US soil. THAT is THE most important thing there is and he's done a GREAT job with it. He took the fight to the terrorists homes and away from ours.

Because he uses scare tactics to make people think we are safer now than before 9/11. His methods work on stupid people and as we all know, there are a lot of stupid people in this country.

They are idiots, brainwashed by the preachers and Fox News. They would figure it out real fast if they got to be the ones to pay for his war and his tax cuts for billionaires, why should the rest of us get stuck with the bill for their stupidity and shallowness?
