CNN is really starting to scare me.

They have been running a lot of specials recently that make it seem to me like they are trying to brainwash Americans into supporting action against North Korea, Lebanon, Iran, etc. I support America first and foremost, let's get that out of the way, but what's up with the CONVENIENT specials about the Marine barracks bombing in Beirut, political oppression in North Korea, etc.? I won't even talk about Fox News and their little hints about Syria and Iran. The news reported on the Iranian president's letter and made him look like a madman, then I read it online myself and found it quite rational and diplomatic.

What's up with this bull? What, America isn't guilty of violating certain rights granted in the constitution and Bill of Rights? What about poverty in America, the richest country in the world?

I will be honest, I am afraid of America more than I am any desert sandtrap a gazillion miles away from me.

To the last idiot poster, I said LIVING IN AMERICA, I am not afraid of the people who live in desert sandtraps! LEARN TO READ. I didn't say the Middle East was safe! It's not! I just said we don't have to be afraid of them, as Americans!

Yes it is-to have Americans to support the ongoing war overseas. We should let them kill each other and stay the hell out and worry about the problems in the U.S.

How can you critisize America being guilty of violating rights granted in the constitution and Bill of Rights at the same time accusing people of using their right to free speech as propoganda? Then you say you support America first and foremost and turn around and say you would feel safer in a sandtrap a gazzillion miles away. Which is it? Whats up with your bull? Because now you see it on the news but haven't paid any attention to all the memorials throughout the years for the 241 American serviceman and 58 French paratroopers that were killed by Hezbollah bombers, all of a sudden now its propaganda. What your contradictory statements mostly say is how 2 faced you are.

Absitively (a combination of absolutely and positively).

Every news source has it's own point of view that often bleeds over from its editorial pages (shows) into it news pages (shows).

That includes the " old grey lady" that boasts it carries "all the news that fits, we print".

About that desert sandtrap a gazillon mile away. See below.

I case you think that the US placed explosives in the WTC and that there wasn't any plane. I watched the plane banking toward the WTC live on TV. A moment later, I watched the explosion that occurred when it hit. Also, a friend of my is a school teacher in Jersey City, just across from that hole in the ground. She caught the plane on video tape from that side of the building.

in the initiating- this isn't only a republican or democratic failing on my own! Ask any specialist in any field, and they could allow you to recognize something that you ignorantly settle for even if it is unfaithful. This situation is amazingly conventional and detrimental in the area of politics, because whoever receives voted in can probably damage the country for the subsequent 4 (or 8) years, like President Bush has! in aspect of incontrovertible reality that media consisting of television or radio are so many times used and common that it is the merely way maximum folk study about what's happening on in the large international. maximum folk are not fascinated in politics, and so at the same time as they listen that so-and-so flipped aspects, or that Mr. Whoever is going adversarial to his be conscious, they use that to vote. it isn't properly-suggested democracy, and that is amazingly media pushed. it is merely the way that someone with little time or interest in politics may even see it. once you've the favor to make better suggested judgements, use the web! you could look up as a lot airborne dirt and airborne dirt and mud as you choose on both candidate.

N Korea hasn't done anything lately, notice that?

There doesn't seem to be much news in the US, and more propaganda! In fact, the court in Florida said it was OK for Fox to lie in a story that they knew was untrue!

If that is allowed to happen I feel sorry for people trying to figure out the truth! How can a judge tell a network that it is OK to lie????

Maybe they are telling us the truth? We in the west enjoy the most open media in the world. Ultimately, it works because you as an individual should be able to think for yourself and work out what you agree with and stuff you disagree with.
