You could try a multi-national business and see if they have any vaccancies in translating, or see if the UN needs translators.
On the finding a job front, try www.monster.com. You could start up your own Polish school aswell.

The Secret Intelligence Service SIS, they may want agents for MI6. You don't speak Russian too? Or maybe a bus driver? Nearly all the bus drivers in Birmingham are Polish. But seriously, London is a bloody expensive place to live and you have little chance of finding rented accommodation. If you do find somewhere it'll be on the outskirts of London. it may be better to look for employment outside London - maybe somewhere like Birmingham that has a Polish community. If you end up driving children to school in a bus and they offer to show you the way - ignore them! You could make a start by looking at the Jobcentreplus website.
