In Switzerland, beer and wine are allowed above the age of 16, any other alcoholics above 18.

There are no special regulations for girl scouts or similar. As far as I know, the regulations of the country you are at the moment are applicable. So if you are in Switzerland, only Swiss law is relevant, and not the law of the home country.

Although the official legal drinking age in France is 18. If you can order yourself a drink and are tall enough to reach the counter, most places will serve you. I think it's pretty much the same everywhere else in Europe except for the UK where they tend to be a little more careful about serving minors. I never was a girl scout but I am pretty sure they'd have a problem with you drinking if you are underage. Just because you go visit a foreign country that has different laws, doesn't suddenly releases you from the laws of your country especially if you are participating in a trip organized by the Girl Scout Organization.

In the UK you've got to be 18, but many countries on the continent including includes France and Switzerland have an age limit of 16 for beers and 18 for spirits. People under 18 have to leave the bars and clubs before midnight.

The drinking age in most of Europe is 18, but it is quite common to get into pubs at 16 - pubs don't ask for I.D. and it is always more difficult to get into clubs but that has little to do with age.

It's 18. I think if you go out with someone who is over eighteen, you can stay after midnight, but I'm not sure...
