Mention the planets of the solar system which are impossible to be seen at midnight sky? ( whether by naked eye, by telescope or by any other means ). You look into the night sky preferably around midnight and can never see these planets, mention the names.

It would be great if we start asking some quiz here in addition to the discussion to make it more interesting, am I right? it may improve our universe/ galaxy knowledge as well.

do you all agree with me?

Mercury and Venus: these planets are both closer to the sun than Earth, and so are always on the same side of the Earth as the sun is. However, if it is midnight, you are on the opposite side of the Earth, and so you cannot see them (unless you have some way of looking through several thousand kilometers of rock).

The only planets visible at midnight from Earth with the naked eye

Are Venus (Rarely and depending on latitude)
Mercury (same)
Mars Jupiter Saturn

Uranus has an apparent magnitude of +5.5 and +6.0 which is just barely visible to those with superior vision and know where to look.

I think that everything including Jupiter and beyond is supposed to be invisible to the naked eye.

And yes, I think that the quizzes are a good idea.
