Surely when someone is drunk they tend to speak the way they actually feel or believe.
Only when they sober up and realise what damage they may have caused themselves do they resort to falsehoods.

Mr. Mel. Gibson should stand up and let the world know that he is in fact a rabid Anti-Semitic.

Gibson's father is a known, unrepentant anti-semite who believes the Jews made up the Holicost to make the world feel sorry for them.

So, I'm not very suprised at Gibson's comments -- even though he was drunk at the time.

See, as usual, people are not getting the entire story. The man made a movie about Christ and was withstood by the Jewish powers dominating Hollywood. The man lived under extreme stress because he made a movie about Christ. Why? Cause Jews hate Christianity. See, the bigotry started there, with Jewish hatred. Who are they to try and stop or pressure Mel for making a movie about Christ? They did just that. It was they who started the stress on his life. That stress was building up and hurting his career in a city dominated by Jews. When he got drunk, all of that stress just poured on out.

How does Hollywood become dominated by Jews? Who gets a movie? Who gets a promo? Who gets advanced? Why so many Jewish actors getting jobs? Are Jews promoting Jews, to the hurt of other non-Jews? Why am I anti-Semitic for pointing out bigotry?

Mel was not an anti-Semite. If he is now, surely, it's the Jews doing. How is a man supposed to respond to pressure like that? Except to hate them. (and still Mel doesn't hate them) And again, why do Jewish people have such a dominating stronghold over all the media and so many other areas of our lives?

TRUE, he didn't mean it, some people when intoxicated speak the truth better than when there sober!! Mel Gibson is antisemitic, he was raised that way, Both of his parents were members of the Nazi party, so hes just a chip off the old block.

I don't know if it is necessarily true that while intoxicated one always speaks the truth. I have colleagues that tell even bigger lies while drunk. I also know some that will intentionally say things to make trouble.

Mel Gibson? I don't know him. But if he is indeed an Anti-semitist, he should take a vacation in Beirut and get what he deserves.

Mel Gibson is an out-and-out anti-Semitic lunatic. He's 100% off-the-wall nuts and obsessed with Jews.

Anyone in Hollywood with any human decency will consider him persona non grata from now on.

(As if that inciting movie he made wasn't enough)

My opinion? Mr Gibson was venting honest anger that he had
been accused of being anti-semitic. Does that make him anti-semitic? Not necessarily. Just like these Hate Crimes today. Most of which aren't committed by haters. But silly kids, blowing
of steam. That doesn't mean there aren't real hate crimes. Let's not be simple.

True. Alcohol causes you to loose your inhibition. You don't censor what you want to say.

BTW. People should realize that being drunk is not an excuse for something you did while you were drunk. Suck it up!

On the lying more when drunk....true as well. But he intentionally told this lie. He knew what his intent was. I will have to recheck what I said. I am generalizing again. Thanks for pointing that out! I hate being hypocritical, aaahhhh!!
I stand by what I said about being responsible 100% though.

Drunks say what they really think about other people. The barriers are down. He is an anti-Semite and he is very lucky he did not kill someone driving around drunk.

As he is a Roman Catholic I would presume that Mel views Israeli leadership as Anti - Christ.

Based on Israel's continued crimes against humanity it will soon no longer be considered taboo to be anti-Semitic or anti-Zionist!

The guy was drunk and ranting. I commend the officer for not saying what all was said.
