What's the real sentiment in that nation towards the Americans? Afghanistan?

I think about how Americans are back home, and I shudder to think of their attitude towards the Iraqis. The people of this country are the last ones who should ever go nation-building. Americans love to alienate people and think they're always right. They are professional backstabbers who lie and cheat to one-up you at every chance. Whenever they get a little bit of money or success, they immediately start becoming divisive, calling people losers or bums with no ambition, instead of being gracious and happy. They have a big problem respecting and listening to people.

In short, Americans live to be miserable. Why the hell would any other country want them running their affairs? I was born and lived overseas, and have been to other countries like Australia and Canada, and many people want nothing to do with the US. Hearts and minds...our attitude isn't winning them.

I always wondered how Americans would react if another country sent troops here to "liberate" us. I always wondered if Americans would be upset if another country set up a military base on U.S. soil. We have bases all around the world, but no other country has a base on our soil. Kind of weird.

The USA is not occupying Iraq. We are guest to the new Iraqi gov't. If the Iraqis want us to leave then we will go. They don't want us to leave and we will stay until the job is done.

Americans live to be free. You need to find new people to hang out with. The USA is the best place in the world to live. We have the highest standard of living for 300 million people and offer class mobility that no other country can offer. Canada can offer more social services because they leech off of America's military strength. Without the USA, Canada could be overrun by Ecuador's army. Most countries live under our blanket of protection. US forces just left Iceland. Iceland doesn't have an military and hasn't had a need for one since we liberated them from Germany in the 40's. They society has prospered under our "occupation". Japan, Europe, Australia, Korea, and Philippines owe their economy and social growth to the USA. Instead of speaking about "respecting and listening" to people, study history and the damage evil has done and the growth goodness has beget.

i think of Bush is solid. The U.S. ousted Saddam Hussein, a terrible dictator in charge for the homicide of hundreds of hundreds of his very own human beings, helped Iraq write a shape, set up a democratic government, and drove out terrorists. Iraq is now a democracy interior the middle of the middle East. Strategically, we could like peace and democracy to unfold to 3 of the encircling countries as nicely. thousands and thousands of Iraqis at present are unfastened, and due to it, there is peace able the place there became as quickly as violence. it continuously amazes me how liberals in basic terms see the story from their factors of view. no person ever suggested it may be suitable or that we could no longer make errors alongside the way. the two factors have lost lives and made sacrifices. the international is a safer place. "Over a million Iraqis are ineffective?!" the place do you get that form? We in all probability stored lives interior the long-term. specific, we are safer through fact we've an best chum interior the middle East that has rejected terrorism. Get your info without delay.

It;s like potty training a little kid. They cry and complain but the end result is a civilized child.

Iraq is like a little kid crying President Bush busted Saddam after he bombed New York and is teaching all the Iraqi's how to be Redpublicans.

They will cry now but be ever so happy once they have a strong pro-business government running the show.

Go big Red Go

Again, you are so wrong. Yes, some do not like us there but MOST DO and DO NOT want us to leave. Where do you get your information. You say you love America but I think its only because its freedoms allow you to rip on it all you want. You take a small part that disagrees with something and make it sound like the majority because thats who you agree with. People, do not let this guy fool you. The majority of Afgans and Iraqi's DO NOT want Americans to leave. But eventually we will as we did in Germany and Japan. Who are now some of our best allies.

Yeah, you're so right. America sucks. We love to be miserable. I'm sure life in Iraq under Saddam was so superior to anything in this country. In fact, why don't you go move to Iran. I think you would be really happy there. No reason to stay here and suffer freedom!!!

Because they are misinformed by religous fanatics who put pressure on them and say if you donot do as we wish than you will become an outcast of God. Some donot trust as because we (CIA) along with the Kurdish rebels were suppoed to overthrow Saddam but than we backed out and the Kurds captured a city but were gased to death.

Yes, they don't like us. The head of the government doesn't like us either!!

Why Bush wants to stay is beyond me. It isn't going to effect the outcome, and he probably is not going to get the oil either.

All those dead for oil and Bush is going to get cut off!!
