No, but women should have an idea what is appropriate for their body types. Just because its in your size, doesn't mean you should wear it.... that isn't just a message for over weight people.

The timing of your question couldn’t be more pertinent to this ol’gal, having recently received an invite to my 30 yr. high school reunion. “How fun”, I told Ward, “Can’t wait to see the old gang from Mayfield”! Out came the yellowing yearbook full of black and white photos of my “closet friends”. As Ward turned the pages my happiness spun into a crashing wave of nausea. How could I have forgotten? Suppose that after 30 yrs, 2 marriages and raising 3 kids anyone would be entitled to forget a few things but failing to remember the shame and hatred it brought is unforgivable. You see my dear I am “The girl with the good personality but…”, “The fat chick”, the “coyote” date – you know the one you sleep with when drunk and leave by chewing your arm off? No harm, no foul, right? Just kids goofing off. Who cares it’s funny. Got a news flash for ya kid - takes decades to rebuild a shattered self-esteem and there was nothing “funny” about it. Oh and remember the guys in those black and white photos I mentioned? All of them are 30 years older too (just like you will be) with bifocals, thinning hair and beer belly’s. I can’t wait to see them all again and tell them to kiss my big, white, “public swimwearing” butt.

Are you skinny or what, how can a bigger built person try to lose weight at swimming or a big mummy taking their child swimming. What do they say 'sorry sweetheart mummys too big to wear swimwear incase i offend someone by being fat. What sort of person are you, have you no thought for any one.
If this was to happen what about the 'fat' men, children.
I think you are a complete rocket.

No. Some people are more interested in food than in looking a certain way. So what?

Anyway I'd rather much rather go out with a fat happy woman than a skinny miserable one. I once went out with an anorexic for six months so I know exactly what I am talking about.

All people should be allowed to wear swimwear. If more would swim they probably wouldn't be so overweight. Those who don't let people like you bother them are more likely to take the 'plunge' and go for it. Swimming is a good way to slim down. If you don't like the way someone looks in a bathing suit...DON'T LOOK!

That's the kind of issue only someone with a very superficial mentality would ask ( I will assume someone else originated the question). I'm not sure it's the type of thinking that would get us far as a 'highly advanced' civilization. So therefore, no, unless you want to be at the tail end of the values line.

What an ignorant git you are. Im overweight due to the fact I am disabled and can hardly walk. I go swimming every week as its the only kind of exercise that can give my back and knees suport to help build up the muscles. You should really think before you ask questions. Or did you just open your mouth and let your stomach rumble.

no but i think you should be banned from yahoo answers with your ingorant questions. You really should think before you open that humongous hole in your face.

I am overweight due to polycystic ovarian syndrome which makes it difficult for me to lose weight because my body cant digest glucose properly, so i find swimming is a good way of keeping my weight down, now if somebody did take notice of your ridiculous proposal then people like me would probably get fatter and fatter so do us all a favour and DO NOT take the pi$$ out of people of larger proportions!!

One day you will experience 'middle-age spread' and what will you do then? Stop being so ridiculous and start excepting people for their personalities not the fact that they carry couple pounds more than you may do. Fat, thin, tall, small we all deserve a right to go swimming and wear whatever we want.

what an idiot! its down to people like you that cases of anorexia and bulimia are getting more and more common. If a larger woman feels comfortable and confident enough to wear swimwear then i say good on her.
