this has happened to me.It was scarry because I couldnt even talk. all I could do was go back to sleep and try to wake up again. During this time friends came over and was visiting with the rest of my family, I thought I was awake and went out to see them and I did see them but I was still in bed.I called my friend later when I finally woke completely up . And I decribed to her exactly where she was sitting at my house and the clothes she had on. Anyone else every expereinced this?

I haven't. but it's called sleep paralysis. Your brain realeases chemicals to disable voluntary muscles so that you don't act out your dreams. The paralysis happens when the process does not disengage after waking

Yes, I have had this happen more than once. I was very baffled. You are not even able to talk. Its like you are paralyzed.I tried to call for help, and I could not even talk, much less move. And I felt the strange evil sensation. What do you make of this?

It's called The "Old Hag" Syndrome/ Sleep Paralysis.

""You wake up unable to move, barely able to breathe... you feel an oppressive weight on your chest... and you sense some evil presence in the room... The old hag strikes!""

It happens to most people. That includes me. I've also had sleep paralysis, where it feels like something is sitting on your chest.
