Do you actually see a lot of women in "men's clothing"? Or are you just referring to trousers or jeans? Not allowing women to wear trousers in the past was incredibly sexist, as there are so many things you just cannot do in a skirt. Traditional "women's clothing" is NOT comfortable, which is why a man who wears it is either lying or trying to make a statement. If a man wants to wear a skirt, then he can wear a kilt - often with any kind of clothing you can find a gender equivalent. Some things are considered masculine and some aren't (ie colours etc) so it doesn't always have to do with the style of clothing. Yes, on the odd occasion it can be a double standard, and who knows why a woman wearing a man's jersey can be sexy but a guy in a dress isn't? It's probably down to body shapes. I'm not the type of person to judge a man who feels the need to wear women's clothing, and I do not automatically think "gay." I will however contest any statement that he's trying to live as a "woman" b/c being a woman involves a helluva lot more than high heels and skirts.

This is a hard one to answer!
The area of female's cross dressing is not the way you "see" them today in nice pants and blouses or men's shirts, and men's jeans, and shoes. It is socially acceptable for a woman to dress like you said in men;s clothes.
Again the subject is blurred however? There are females who want to dress in men's clothes such as a business suits, and be a man.A good example of this is the singer "Cher's" daughter who not only wears men's clothes, but has had a sex change into that of a man. That's called "transgender" (from one sex to the other).Again the same for some men who also like Cher's daughter change sex.Myself? I'm a hetrosexual male.I have NO DESIRE to become a woman.I just like to dress as one for my girlfriend who enjoys seeing me as a female. (That's another subject though?) A majority of "transvestite's" (that's me!) only enjoy it for various purposes including sexual pleasure too! Female's mostly wear pants since they are comfortable to wear not for sexual pleasure or otherwise, unless they want it to be? (that's anther subject too!)

Hello! It's the times we live in! It used to be that women were looked down upon if they wore pants. Women's clothing is not as comfortable as you think they are. Try wearing a dress in windy weather or trying not to freeze your butt off in winter in pantyhose. Men have it better, I think.

Firstly, some girls don't have very feminine figures. Most guys don't either. Women's clothes are much less comfortable in general, they are tighter, and cut strangely. Mens clothing is much less revealing and looser fitting.

The Bible says that a woman is not to wear that which pertains to a man, neither is a man to put on a woman's garment, for all that do they are an abomination unto the Lord thy God.
