It does bother me when I hear people cursing. Sometimes it happens, thats understandable - but every other word out of your mouth shouldn't be a curse word. I think it makes the person cursing look unintelligent and ridiculous. Someone who can express themself using words rather than cursing is someone who is interesting and well educated.

Sorry about that. I read that the average American curses one in every 8 words spoken. I for one have probably made up for everyone on who's answered your question so far. Thanks to about 20 years in manufacturing, steel and later securities trading industries it's all I can do to keep from dropping an "F" bomb while I'm teaching at the university (I am a management professor).
In several of my jobs it was a test to be able to curse blue flame. There were few new employees who tried, but it seemed they were just perverts so weren't really accepted on the job.
Anyhow, it doesn't disgust me just reveals that someone is regretting something out load. On behalf of the cursers who are not perverts, sorry. We are all working on it.

definatly...i'm still in high school, and i hear cursing like there is no tomorrow. it makes me uncomfortable. its sad how people just waste their breath, just to describe something, now if you fell off the empire state building and survived then ya you can curse then that's a different story.

I feel like people who are using those words are disrespecting me. My husband no longer cusses because he knows how much it bugs me. My friends don't do it either, because they also consider it disrespectful. Once people know I am upset with the language they are using, they calm it down.

Sometimes... not really disgusted but find them to be uncreative with their words.

No, but it bores me, and makes me think they're not very imaginative.
