i am restoring a old time p.c ,and i have checked every component 1 by 1 and each are ok,except for the mobo, now the on-board v.g.a adapter at the rear has been damaged so i put a ge-force a.g.p card on the board and tried it ,still wont boot,so i tried a pci-bus card, still no boot
is it because of the damaged v.g.a adapter that this mobo wont work,or can i disable it,i know how to disable it,just cant boot it up to do it,is there anything you can do to boot up a dead p.c or will the mobo just stop this p.c from booting up
i reckon i need to get a new mobo, but is there anything i can try before i go shopping
cheers
