Have tried to talk to that person and let them know you need help to purchase a car. You never know they may willing to help you because of your honesty.

I think if you are not married to this person then he should not expect you to be with him forever. you can get your car and tell him you don't see this relationship going anywhere and tell him you are not in love with him then leave.
