I have a few ideas regarding new products, which are totaly fresh, I also have one idea which is a variation of a product already available, how do i set my ideas in motion?
Is it possible that on a very limited budget i can develop an idea into a product in the open market?

To protect an original invention OR a significant improvement to an existing product, a patent would be filed. Here's the USPTO's definition: http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/pac/doc/general/index.html#patent

NOLO is a great, free informational site. Also, be sure to read what else the USPTO (United States Patent & Trademark Office) has to say about patents.

inventershelp.com

This site alows you to submit your idea for free. Then they put it through a review committy that decides if the idea is profitable. Then they call you to talk to you more about your idea. If all goes well, it will cost you on average about $1500 dollars for them to prepare everything for the patent office and for the attourny fee. This will give you patent protection, and insure that you have exclusive rights to your idea. This is actually cheaper then paying for everything seperatly on your own. If you want them to continue to help you get your idea marketed, they can help with that also. After the idea is patented, they can help you find investers if you need to. If all goes well, 18 months later your product is on the shelf, and you are reciving royalty checks.
