Will my cucumber plant stop producing if the end got snapped off by mistake? It's otherwise in great shape but the end was in the middle of other garden vegetables and was accidentally snapped off while harvesting some wax beans. Is there a chance that the end will keep growing further (thus producing more vegetables) or should I remove the plant when the existing cucumbers are harvested?

Thanks.

Now that the end's been nipped, it should send out other shoots with flowers on them. Main thing is to not damage the flowers.

It should be OK. Make sure you keep it well-watered and fed, since cukes are pretty heavy feeders anyway. As long as the plant is healthy, it should send out some new growth which should produce blossoms and more cukes.

the break should not stop the production of fruit, however cucumber will only grow so long then production will slow.
