Specifically would like to know where one is in a Semi truck, but if not known please explain where one is on a typical vehicle, and if it is possible to block the sensor for a short time so no mileage registers on the digital odometer.

I am not actually doing this people! We were sitting around last night talking about it for like an hour and disagreed on the answer. This is like the time I asked for the top 10 best songs to kill yourself to and a bunch of people replied "please dont kill yourself". Just answer the question!

speed sensors on normally located on the rear of the tranmission or on the rear end. on newer vehicles, the speed sensor also controls eletronic shifting of the transmission, cruise control and a host of other things. not a good idea to mess with it.

Check out the fuses but be careful.On a Ford Ikon the fuse that controls the odometer also controls the ABS .So watch it.

Great now the internet police will be watching your every move. It is built in where it will be tamperproof by professional car thieves to professional mechanics. It is illegal anyway to even think about it,so now you just exposed yourself to the internet police so watch your back.

late model semi trucks and cars p/ups are going though computer best not to mess with p/s also very illegal if caught
