What is it that this best friend has to offer that your mate don't?? Don't you think you should spend your time with your mate? Why does your mate not like your boy friend.. I mean best friend that happens to be male? Maybe your mate is number 2 in your life and this outsider is number 1? Get rid of one or the other. It is not right for you to try to hurt your mate. The boy friend AKA knows he is winning and will have you away from your mate in no time at all if he can get you two fighting.
Why do you women think that you should have lots of male friends and your boy friend or husband should only talk to you and no other females at all?
If you have a flat tire and can't get the lug nuts off, Who do you call? BF or best male freind? If you don't want problems in your marrage or what ever you need to understand your mate is your number one and not some guy that lives down the street that has good pot or what ever it is that you are after.
Stop playing games and dump the mate or the boy freind. You can't keep both if they are not freinds. Don't say they are freinds because if they were your mate would trust the boy friend and there would be no problems.

You answered your own question by speaking of your boyfriend and your best friend as two separate people!!!!!
Come on - if you think you have a loving relationship but that person is not your best friend then you are not just being a ***** you are being silly.
Either love the guy properly and call him your best friend and the other guy your second best friend or let him go to find someone he can find proper love with!

That's actually pretty normal. I usually get along better with guys than girls so it drives my man crazy. As cliched as it sounds, I just always assure him that there is nothing going on between me and my friends. Don't go and do date-type things with your guy-friend. Reserve your evenings for your boyfriend. If you got turned down by him for a date cuz he was going out to dinner with a female friend, chances are you'd be jealous too.

Get a different boyfriend who doesn't mind your friendship. This relationship with this boyfriend will end. Stop being insecure and move on. Friends are forever, boys are whatever.

Then you should probably cut down on the time you spend with him or not tell your boyfriend about all the things you and he do together so as not to create more jealousy.

I can understand why your boyfriend gets jealous. I mean how would you feel, if his best friend was a girl who was good-looking to say, and he spent tons of time with her?? What needs to happen though, is you need to sit down with your boyfriend one on one, and talk to eachother. You need to find out his feelings on the whole situation about everything (not just jealousy). And you need to be willing to work with him, and compromise in ways. You know...and you can do things, like sometimes go out to a lake or park or something like that, with your boyfriend and your best friend, so your boyfriend can see how you two are together and to get to know him...so he knows things are cool. But most importantly you two have got to talk, communicate, compromise, and be willing to work things out in a civilized manner. And if he's not willing to talk about it or compromise or work it out, but just be a jerk and be jealous, or if your not willing to talk and work it out, and are horrible about it...then it will not work out. But if you two can talk and get things cleared, and do things about it or whatever, there's no reason why it shouldn't eventually be okay and work out.

too bad for your boyfriend. he shouldn't be so insecure. if you tell your best friend to get lost, and things don't work out with your boyfriend later on down the road, not only are you out a boyfriend, but also a best friend! guys come and go, best buds don't.
