Republicans!

War is a method used between two nations aimed to settle indifferences among them by means of violent, military acts until all sides have either surrendered to their victor or have been annihalated by them.

Supporting war does not make you a republican. Being a republican does not garuntee your support of war. There are plenty of cases where the are wars involving countries were republicans don't even exsist, same for democrats.

War has nothing to do with taking away the rights of the American people to establish a medeival hedgemony. there are plenty of wars that aren't involving the United States.

Most of todays wars exsist because of unwanted international occupations or disliked authorities. in this case, war may seem to be a tool of dictators and world control, but plenty of wars rise to end these as well. Rebellions counter dictators and independance wars repress occupants (who many of those that are being occupied feel are pressing for hedgemonial order involving their occupied homeland).

Nobody attacks a country across an entire ocean just because they have a different religeon and celebrate rights and freedoms. The idea is a waste and could never be accomplished efficiently.

People do attack overseas when that particular nation is occupying their homeland. For example: al Queada believes Saudi Arabia should be protected by them (or fellow muslims), and not by western forces (the U.S.). No muslim militia appreciates American support along the west bank. No islamic radical supports an invasion any were in the middle east, especially if it is from the west.

Now we know why there is a jihad. Jihad is only permitted when the muslim people are under attack (or related things such as an occupying foreign force). Now they believe they have the right to "fight back". So according to Islamic radicals, we are the ones pushing world order and they are supposedly being stepped on.

Personally, I don't support either of the two sides of this argument, and I think it would be best for them to learn to settle things on their own, and not start another crusade.
