yeah i think the whole platonic thing can work. i have a few Friends and they're male and they have never tried to take it further...or maybe I'm wearing the wrong perfume!.

Yes definately. The problems arise when that friend gets a girlfriend/boyfriend. Partners don't always understand.
Most of my best friends have been men. Sadly when they married their wives either 'discouraged' the friendship or tried to 'pair' me off with someone else... I was seen as a threat. I don't know if men view their wives male friends the same way.....Probably.

I don't think so, unless the guy is the other way, if you know what I mean, I think a hetro guy is always thinking " what would it be like with her". But for the woman I think her side of the friendship is always as a friend, because women just don't think like that.

a man and a woman can be friends it think it just depends on how well they know each other as to how deep the friendship is.

Oh definatly. I have three amazing best friends all of which male. Ok one we did have a bit of a thing but decided our friendship was to important to screw up, but the other two just mates. Its great, men make much better friends than ladies, theyr like brothers to me

ye definately, had acouple of close female mates who then have had a 'thing' with but have had others for yrs, like when we were at school that there is nothing other than friendship there!

yea why not??? every thing has its limits... but in this case the limit.. the seperation line is very fine that u have to be very carefulll... but i can say yes real friendship can exit
