RHCP are classified as funk/rap/hip hop/rock/heavy metal/one of the greatest bands ever. I don't listen to the other 2 but the Chilis ROCK!!!

well if you go by what the band calls it
311 says they are rock/alternative/reggae
red hot chili peppers says they are alternative/rock
and tupac says rap/hip hop

They all have different songs that are different genres. You can't compare Give It Away and Offbeat BareAss to Californication and Amber.
