I've traveled the world, and yet to find a better shopping area than the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City. It's not huge, and they don't have every single high end shop in the world, but the overall setting, and feel are just amazing. There are a number of shops, and tons of places to eat and drink. This is a must for any out of town-er.
