I have seen numerous questions and answers on this site calling the President, Republicans, Conservatives, Christians and Jews "stupid", and far worse. Yet if someone asks or answers a question from a Conservative point of view, Liberals run crying to the Yahoo Answers staff saying the are "insulted". This happens especially when the posting is valid and presented in a decent and sensible way. Why is it that Liberals are always touting themselves as "tolerant", "open minded" and "against censorship", but are the first to do anything they can to silence a legitimate, opposing point of view? I always see questions and answers on this site that I find insulting and offensive to my belief system. Most of them just hateful name calling with no valid point to make at all. However, I do not "report" any of these because this is America, and, unlike many Liberals, I believe in Free Speech for all, not just myself. What's the matter, are your positions so weak that they cannot withstand debate?

The only abuse I have reported were postings I thought were exploiting minors, or denigrating minorities, and they were not removed. It would seem that Yahoo answers is safe for pedophiles and racists, but not for Conservatives.

I will admit that I do see some answers and questions from the Right that are rude and hateful. These are insulting to me as well, and they give a bad name to real Conservatives. However, I do not see answers like that being reported. It is only answers that make a solid point in a decent way that I see being removed. Which draws me to conclude that Liberals are afraid of a true intellectual debate.

The answers I posted that were removed were well thought out, and I made every effort to be respectful. I believe I made valid points and did not insult anyone. That is why I believe they were removed. I agree, that there is a lot of worthless chest thumping from both sides. However, I, myself, am interested in encouraging a higher minded debate. Neither name calling or censorship will never allow us to have that debate.
