I have had the water tested and the guy said that thePH was a little high but nothing serious. I have two bubble bars and the bubbles just stay on the top. My tank is 55 gal.

This is usually a sign of too much protein in the water. (Food or waste)
I have a 55 gal aquarium and also a 5000 gal koi pond. When I see a visible foam layer, or bubbles which don't clear, I know that either the fish are being overfed or my filters are due for a good cleaning as they are no longer breaking down the waste properly.
As a temporary measure, a good water change will help.

I had the same proble with my Goldfish tank. I took it to get the water tested and the guy said the water was way to oily. He said it may be because my water was too soft (I have a water sofener). He said to do a water change and use the chlorine remover. It's also a good idea not to use a bubbole maker that makes too many bubbles for a small tank!

Generally it's a sign of high nitrates. What did they test for is the question. At minimum they should be testing for PH, and ammonia. (A really good place will also test hardness, nitrates, and nitrites.) I'd do a 20-30% water change and see what happens.

whether this is a clean tank, this is probable basically frog the air bubbles interior the tank. i'm getting lots of foamy bubbles in my tank after putting up a clean tank & clear out. many fish have a bubble nest, outfitted with water & saliva. they make foamy little bubbles on the proper & sprawn under it. the male will often take the eggs from the female & 'blow' them up into the nest which he will shelter until they hatch. i wish i became some help, and in case you opt for for extra help, i'm on for all time. good luck to you & your fish!

I would suggest, you gather a bit of the fomay material on top of the water, and it take it and get it tested.
