I am about to have an operation done...I want the scars to fade away as nicely and soon as possible...I plan to put Vitamin E from a capsule on it daily but what else would you suggest ? Anything better than that ?

Vitamin E oil is the best you can do...it's what surgeons recommend..they do sell it in bottles of the oil...I use Nature's Bounty in a 2.5oz bottle for mine. It works well, but won't totally eliminate the scars. Remember, scars fade over time, and may stay red for even a year or more. Time is the key.

Silicone scar patches are the best. Vitamin E might actually make the scar worse. Cocoa butter is better if your looking for a natural remedy.
