Blacks were largely Republican until the 1960s. The North, including Abraham Lincoln, was largely Republican and freed the slaves. In the 1960s Republicans were slow to respond to Civil Rights, while Democrats like Bobby Kennedy supported these efforts. Democratic President Lyndon Johson led the effort to pass many of the Civil Rights initiatives of the 1960s. In 1968, Nixon used his famous southern strategy to attract white southern democratic conservatives turned off by the Civil Rights efforts in the Democratic party.
Republicans generally disagree with affirmative action which has further alienated many blacks. I am trying to give you a neutal answer to explain why. My own personal opinion is that many Democrats now take the black support for granted and black leaders such as Jesse Jackson play the victimization and race card. If the majority of black citizens were uplifted and led productive economic lives such as Colin Powell and Condi Rice, then Jesse Jackson would be without a movement.

To be a token black in a position of power at that level needs a lot of action and that does not stop at ability. Rice is an over-promoted token puppy of the Bush Administration. Colin Powell was a man of integrity, wait until his autobiography when the Chimp leaves office and you will learn a lot. Why do you think we didn't have a lot to do with war-mongering when he occupied the office? He even resigned saying that that was the worst thing he had ever done when he was made to LIE about Iraq. It's on Public record so you can easily check this.
BTW, I am not a de-facto anything (kinda stereo typical), I supported Clinton because he had my interest at heart, I won't necesarilly support the next Dem. President.

It is the right of the Black person to "dump" on other Blacks they perceive as people who have abandoned their race. It's part of America. While Black people complain, they are still proud of the accomplishments of people like Colin Powell and Ms. C. Rice.
That's part of the dual nature of the oppressed. So, you're in America now. Accept what is with grace. Most Black people, like people everywhere, are wonderful people. America is proud of our Blacks and their accomplishments.
Now that we have your racist question out of the way, kalamidad. You're exposed for the Muslim you are by trying to cause dissent by posing a question that would have been asked decades ago.
Black people haven't used the terms "dump on their brothers an sisters" since the disco days of the Seventies. If they did, they would have at least made sure "an" and was spelled correctly.
You studied well in school. But your assistants, and what I've mentioned already, have given you away.
King Midas, Barney523 and rockandroll58-79 are working in concert with you. I've seen you operate on other pages, and I want you to know you make a really good team.
Tell your friends Islamabamabangboom and Mohammadammarammabib their efforts will be in vain also.
My friend, "Officer Bob O'malley, behind door #3, of the narco squad," says "youuuuu've been busted," and told me who you are. Silly Muslims, you are not going to cause riots like that.
King Midas, "obsecurity" you need to team up with rockandroll58-79 for more laughs. Y'all are so funny.
rockandroll58-79, "may a thousand fleas invest their armpits and fly up their nostrils" is hilarious. Keep it up; maybe, you can get a job as a comedian when Osama finds out how bad you've flopped at being a White Supremacist. At any rate, Osama will probably cut your funds off for your major faux pas. You're funny. "Fleas up the nostrils," ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!!!!!!!!!!!!
rukidding, you'll never get it. Why do you deny your Muslim roots? You won't get to Muslim Heaven that way. "Oreos," what history book did you get that from? Maybe, the history of "crackers and honkeys?" ttfn

It is a puzzlement.
The Democrats were the party of segregation, even after Eisenhower made moves to really desegregate.
I think the "charisma" of JFK is when it all started to turn around.
Democrats like George Wallace, Huey Long, and David Duke to name a few seem to have been forgotten by the black community.

it' sell out Tom Willis, That is not it it is amazing that Colin Powell and JC Watts were at the forefront of the republican party when Bus was elected, then they saw the true nature of the beast and went into obsecurity. The Repblican party uses blacks and discards them when they are finished with them. That is my problem with the republicans.

Yeah, I don't get it either. It was a Republican who ended slavery and died for it. For a hundred years, Democrats stopped them from voting by enforcing, by pain of torture and death, Jim Crow. It was a Republican who had to send in the army to get two Democrats out of the doorways of schools trying to prevent Blacks from integrating them as Democrats shouted racial slurs and death threats at a six-year-old trying to get an education in one instance. (Remember the infamous: "Segregation today, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever?" Democrat.) It has been a Republican who had the first Black Secretary of State and the first Black woman Secretary of State and Blacks derided them both as being Uncle Toms or "Oreos." I just don't understand it.

YES!!! I get tired of listening to these so-called black "leaders" crying or whining about their lot in life when 2/3 of them are bigger racists than some of these white people.that they call crackers and other racist names. May a thousand fleas invest their armpits and fly up their nostrils.
