I can't understand the issue. You didn't provide the context for the question.

There are three general types of leaders.

1. One I call "Blue Queen". Her opinion is the only one that counts. Disagree and it's "Off with their heads", literally in some countries.

2. One I call "Bubba". He doesn't really have an opinion until the polls come in.

3. One I call "Dutch". He listens to many sides and then makes his mind up based on his principles. Sometimes there are many voices that help him make up his mind; sometimes only one.

I hope that there are more "3" leaders than '1' or '2' leaders.

They obviously have their own agendas and only pretend (sometimes) to be concerned about what the people think. "Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely" All too true, but the people never seem to get it until it's too late. Too bad, because when it comes down to it the power really is in the people. If the people are together on something the leaders will not be able to resist them.
