I'm doing a triathlon this saturday (5 Aug) and I got into a bike accident and I have major road rash all over. I need to get some pool time in before the race so I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to cover up the wounds. I would also like any recommendations for a cover up during the race, I'll be wear wet suit but my leg will be exposed and I don't want it to get infected. PLEASE HELP!

when i had surgery in the summer a couple of years ago my surgeon told me that i could swim, and that the chlorine in the pool would probably help to dry up the incision site.

ask your doc if he has any recommandations. If the wound is not too large than using those waterproof plaster will do. when i have a wound i go into the water it hurts for five minutes or so then it'll stop hurting.
