I was wondering if anyone's familiar with the story behind the song. It's my personal favorite and I'd like to know a bit more about it.

The popular opinion is, that this song is about an affair that an unnamed member of the band had while on tour, but he realized that he had to break it off. "You're dangerous because you're honest", for example, comes from the fact that if she told anybody about the affair, it wouldn't be good for the member of the band. In later tours, U2 changed the line "can we still be friends?" to "we still are friends", indicating that everything had been resolved

a pair years in the past i became in Kentucky. We went to a park interior a cemetery to feed some ducks and swans some bread. human beings have been petting the swans so i desperate i could attempt. It chased me, and that i fell right into a pond.
