You will be OK by September. Next time use higher SPF sun tan lotion or simply stay in bed during your honeymoon.

Your peeling will be healed and gone long before September, but don't do that again!! In the meantime, good thick lotion will help the peeling not be as annoying.

Tanning slowing (with decent sunscreen) is better, although you've still got cancer to worry about.

Self tanner, with practice, can look very real and it's a LOT safer.

You DON'T want to be burnt or peeling in your wedding pictures!!

It's July. I seriously doubt you will still be peeling in September. Go obsess about the flowers, cake, invitations & all the other stuff brides do. Just take a moment to remember that no wedding is "perfect" and if you pay more attention to the marriage than the wedding, you may be part of the 50% who STAY married.
Congrats & good luck.

My best friend is going through her 4 treatment of skin cancer. Seeing her go through this is breaking my heart. Her skin looks like a prune and having to remove skin is taking a toll on her and her family. The doctor told her that a lot of her damage was done as a young adult...she is now in her middle 40's.

My advice to you is - don't ever do it. Go to the store and buy some alo vera and put it on religiously. From now on take care of your skin...and don't worry about what you want people to perceive you as a very tanned person. Just go with the flow and know that your beautiful skin that God gave you is more than perfect.

Good Luck and may your marriage be forever and ever.

You'll be done peeling within a week or two. If you decide to use the tanning beds again, work your way up, don't stay in too long to start with. Start with 7-8 minutes max and work your way up to 15 or 20 minutes, two or three times a week.

You need to go to the doctor.

But anyways, you should just give it some time to heel. I'd stay out of the sun If I were you and never get in a sunbed again.

Also, check with a dermatologist because sunbeds increase your risk of getting skin cancer.

Where did you get the idea that one must have a tan to get married? Stay away from the tanning beds (and the sun too) until September and you'll be fine.

If you must become a different color, try one of those spray-on booths instead. At least they won't make you sick.

This website should be helpful. Take it very easy from now on and don't do this again! I live in a place where I can tan all year long and I'm always careful with sunscreen and slow exposure. If you're gonna' try any kind of tanning, slow is the way to do it.

Don't stress it! The peeling will be a distant memory by September. If you want a little bit of color, try jergens natural glow. Tons of my customers swear by it.

Apply Aloe Vera--I like to use Herbal Aloe from Herbalife. Works great on sunburned skin.
