These days most women pluck their eyebrows. It is definitely not a fad.
We pluck them to shape and enhance the arch of our eyebrows and to remove obvious stray hairs below the brow line.
When they are done correctly, the natural shape of the eyebrow is maintained and enhanced.
Eyebrows that have been taken care of through waxing, plucking, depilatory, or other methods frame the eye and give the face a polished look.

I wax what I can and pluck the stray one or two as they grow in. And because I tend to have very big eyebrows, not bushy, just a lot of hair. I hate them. They look neater and prettier when I thin them out and shape them. I don't look like a Neanderthal anymore. lol

Because they're BUSHY. I actually have a really nice natural shape...it's just all those stray hairs that make things look messy. A good cleaned up brow can really transform the look of your face. It's not just a fad.

What? and you don't? how do you mean? like pluck ALL of them off or just some that get in the way? if you dont pluck atleast some of them, you'll look like a hairy monster and have a unibrow!!

To make them shapely and attractive in a way, and plus they don't want to have a unibrow or eyebrows that are overly bushy. thats basically it.

no..bc you can shape your eyebrows nicely..its not a fad women have been painting and shaping their eyebrows forever.

The eyebrows are the "frame" of your face. When shaped correctly, you don't need much makeup! They really light up your face when shaped nicely.

Because it makes them look neat and well groomed. Some people get carried away and make them look always scared, but when done properly it looks nice.
