no--i'm an artist and i can honestly say a lot of my work has been inspired by the things I made with legos as a kid. In fact Frank Lloyd Wright--one of America's most famous architects--claims his inspiration came from similar building blocks as a child. I'm trying to find similar block packs that I had as a child now, but all they seem to put out are these radical futuristic sets. but i love em.

Can't be any worse than a grown woman buying Care Bears:-)
I don't see anything wrong with it. I wouldn't even classify Lego's as a toy. To me they are more like a hobby item. Sort of like a model car and believe me... Plenty of grown men buy those.
Oh and by the way I buy Care Bears because I collect them, I don't play with them... Really I promise ;-)

Why? Are you that grown man, or is it a grown man you know who is buying the legos?
I guess its like toy trains. If you act normal about it, its ok. If you act like Bobby Bacala from the Sopranos, all geeked out with the train hat and stuff, then there is something wrong.

No, Legos can be for any age (even though they mainly target children). You are never too old for LEGOS. ;-)

Never!
Old women collect dolls.
Whatever makes you happy then do it.
Who cares what people think.
Life is too short to allow anyone to judge you or critisize
you for what you love to do.
Its your business not anyone elses.
Have fun!
