I have gone to the Nokia website and ordered the approriate settings for my phone's configuration, but I never receive the text message that has the settings on it. I'm starting to become irritated.

U need to contact your mobile's Service Provider. I mean the company who's SIM card u use.
They are the ones who provide settings for mobile internet services.

I believe the reason your having a problem recieving the text message is because your text message settings are not correct. Can you receive text messages from other people? If I were you I would call my service provider and get them to double check that your text messaging settings are correct as well as make sure you are signed up for mobile browsing. Most providers offer this automatically on a pay per use service, but I have also seen some which do not. Also have you had it working before? I believe this is something you should be going to your service provider for, and not Nokia, they simply make the phones, they do not give you service.

First,what is your service provider?If t-mobile or cingular they do have a website to configure your phone.What is your phone model.I know how to configure setting.|Let me know if u need anything...
