I'm "white" and never had that experience! Matter of fact I had a "black" older lady ask me if I had a pen she could borrow in the post office the other day! I told her yes and that she could have it , and you would have tought I gave her a million dollars! She kept thanking me over and over asking me if I was "sure" I wanted her to have it! If you've been treated "mean" by a black person , maybe it's "you" and your attitude! The "white man" isn't "always" the nice guy you know! Do Indians, Chinese, Japanese, Hispanics or any other nationality treat you mean? {lol} Maybe it's "you" I think you need an attitude adjustment!

In my experience blacks do not treat us wrong for the most part, and I know I play Bass Guitar in an all black choir. There are people in all races that are mean to be honest about the matter. There are instances that blacks and whites have beaten each other for being on the wrong side of town, but I think It's wrong to be mean to someone else regardless of there race.
