i went travelling around europe on a small budget and was times when i had no money and was taken in by people, fed and housed by people...i was robbed in barcelona and our car was towed away the same day, without knowing us a woman gave us 250 euros because we where stuck for nothing, said here is my e mial pay me back when you want...i was accepted by small villages where ever i went, by kind generous people, my father even said the things i got up to was "the stuff of legend"!!!...i saw some of the most beautiful places you could ever see...venice,the duomo in florence, the david, the vatican, the eiffel tower, beautiful scenery too. Ive even been to new york where i went up the empire state building alone, played pool with hoodlems in a bar at three in the mornin drunk and won lol......
Then i came home and one day went to uni and saw a girl in the year below me, and i swear she was the most beautiful thing i have ever seen more than any piece of architecture, art, masterpiece, person or anything, there is nothing else like her!!!!
Only problem is I still havent asdked her out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The most beautiful thing that I ever experienced and saw was when I lived in the Shetland Isles. I went walking along the beach at mid-night when it had just snowed. The full moon mirrowing it's brightness on the crisp virgin snow and the sound of the surf' it was absolutely breathtaking. And It seemed that all the stars were twinkling all at once just for me. And just when I thinking it could not get more any better, Aurora Borealis appeared in the sky spreading green and silver shafts of light across the clear winter sky.
I let myself imagine what it must have been like to have been for the first person to walk on the moon, so quiet, tranquil, at piece with the world and thinking what a very humbling experience it must have been.
Did it change my life, well it was not a life changing experience but when I see the moon it serves to remind me of that special moment in time and what a beautiful world we live in and how big the universe is and me just a mere mortal.

The most beautiful thing I have ever seen, besides the love that my parents and I have for one another, is when I watched the birth of my child. At first I wasn't going to look up at the huge mirror, that allows you to see your baby come out, but when I saw my husband watching, what seemed gruesome to me at first, was beautiful. He would look back and forth at me and the mirror, when our child finally arrived, we both cried and we told our child hello, we love her and that we have been waiting for a long time, to meet her. Having a child changes you so much, you realize, this tiny little human being, is so dependent on you and you must do everything you can, to try and be the best parents, that you can be.

unless you have kids you won't get this, I didn't. But my child has totally changed my world. My life has totally turned around (for the better) and all because of this little bundle I had placed in my arms 5 yrs ago. I still have a life but it is now much more fulfilled one smile and all my worries just melt away. Any loving parent will tell you same ps Minn J get a life !

Nou Camp, Barcelona, 26th May 1999. MUFC completed the treble. Never done before.
Thousands of people I didn't know became my dearest friends. We shared a common past, traditions, a history, a city. We'd shared battles and trials, worries and disappointments. I didn't know their names but that night we were joined as one. We remembered those who had gone before, those that had been on the journey but were no longer with us. We celebrated our heroes and made memories that will be passed on for generations.
Changed my life? Yes. It was a fundamental event in my life so far. Ties formed that night have determined many major decision in my life since.

The day I experienced social nudity for the first time. I was finally able to meet people that didn't try to hide behind some fad or image. I met real people. Everyone was equal. It's an experience that words cannot express - total freedom finally realized.

The view of Earth as taken by Apollo 8. It's a famous picture and makes you realise how small and vulnerable the Earth is, a tiny oasis in the immensity of space.

Having my son. It was surreal and the emotion of giving birth made me laugh and cry at the same time. Watching him grow up is the most beautiful thing I get to see every day...

You know I had never realized that "my story" has actually made a difference in my life, but thanks to your question, it has.
Mine is just simply the sunsets! My father loved to watch the sunsets, he worked so hard all of the time and when he saw a beautiful sunset, he always stopped to admire it. Now that he is gone, sunsets hold a great deal more significance to me.
I KNOW he is watching with me even though he's not here!
Thanks for the thought.
