I meant banning racists and other other form of severe insults from people in yahoo!! Seeing as yahoo takes so long to respond. And i read some comments which are indeed very hurtful to the person it is aimed at.
And as for those people who are involving belief, i.e. "curious" A message to you mate: This is not about religion! Its about racism and other sorts of insults.
And to those people who are calling me all sorts: put yourself in the shoes of the victims and think about how you would feel.
Its not easy unless you went through it yourself.

I am not victimising ANY ONE, nor am I saying that certain groups have the right to be racist and others dont.
Some people are making out as if this question is only about racism. READ people, use your eyes (what r they for?). The question is also about other insults!
Some people add comments that just make no sense. I doubt that they can understand it themselves (u know who u r)

For all you people who are putting "freedom of speech" etc.
There is a difference between being banned for being racist, or of a similar nature, and being banned because someone didn't like their opinion.
If you say all coloured people or all of another type of people are something then you are racist, or similar.
However if you call a coloured person something that is associated with their skin-colour by racist people, but it is true, then you are expressing your opinion. This is freedom of speech.
Anyway, back to the original question, I agree with you.

Have you people gone nuts? This is Yahoo's property, dudes. Freedom of speech doesn't exist here ... they can ban you for being racist and you can't say a thing. So yes, banning racists from here would be lovely.
Education isn't going to do squat. Look at this, for instance ... a lot of you are spouting stuff about Muslims when they have nothing to do with this conversation. America's too Christian to WANT to teach their people about religious and racial tolerance.

Freedom of speech is a right.
What other people think is also a right.
Abusive behaviour towards other people, however, whether it be by use of bad language, threatening behaviour, is not a right.
And people should be banned.
If you were to ban everyone for airing there views, ideas, questions, doubts, then the world would be silent.

It is not possible to ban forms of thought. We should instead discourage by education. However, as long as there are differences between people, and people wish to be considered differently, there will be racism.

In an ideal world. I am a white Welshman, (for my sins) and i feel there are alot of racists in england. e.g a 1000 year saying Taffy is a welshman, taffy is a thief. ( Taffy comes from the name of a river in Wales) Said by the english...My Scottish and Irish cousins too endure such racism. e.g paddy and murphy jokes and Ginger scotts..But, my point being as regards to color is a Dick head racist near me, who goes around chanting for blacks and such to go home. This guy goes for sunbeds several times a week, dont he realise he is turning his skin the same color...Anyone got a spare brain cell for him...

I like to see just how many misinformed bigots are out there. The world is too big and full of morons to pretend they don't exist.
Maybe a few will be educated if they take time to read questions such as yours with open eyes...Here's hoping!

What is your definition of racist? I rather suspect it is those who do not share your colour, ethnic origin, culture or religion. Freedom of speech is of paramount importance and is the greatest right of the entire world. Was it Voltaire who said " I detest every word that person says but I will defend to the death his right to say it" ?
Whoever , he was right!!

You should exact the same treatment to these racists as they do when you speak of Jewish over reaction. Report them and see what happens. Yahoo it would appear have a pro Israeli bias

banned????...you mean excluded from an opinion??? i suppose you mean ban white people dont you ??? can you imagine the uproar if we banned muslims free speech . there are a lot of white people i dont like the same as i dont like some ..if not as many black people. show me the law where it says you "must" like "all " black people whether you like it or not. that is verging on a dictatorship there my friend. telling people they will not under no circumstances have an adverse view of another nation of people .... what next ..." you must agree to not disagree to anyone of whom is a different colour as yourself".
